Vivo X500 Ultra Specifications Leaked: Triple 200MP Cameras and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro Tipped

A fresh leak from tipster Debayan Roy (@Gadgetsdata) has shed light on what the Vivo X500 Ultra might look like, and the camera setup is the main story here.

Three 200MP Sensors Across the Board

According to the leak, Vivo is going all-in on resolution with the X500 Ultra. All three rear cameras are reportedly 200MP, which is insane.

The main camera is said to use a large 1/1.12-inch sensor with LOFIC technology, likely Samsung's HPA sensor. The ultrawide sits at 1/1.56 inches and could be Samsung's HP5 or a Smartsens alternative. The periscope telephoto reportedly uses a 1/1.28-inch sensor with LOFIC as well, with either the Smartsens SCC90XS or Omnivision OV52B as the likely candidate.

One thing worth flagging: the leak specifically states this is not a 10x periscope lens. The magnification level wasn't specified, so that's still an open question.

Selfie Camera and Display

The front camera is pegged at around 100MP, though the leak uses "likely" on that one, so treat it as tentative. On the display side, the X500 Ultra is said to come with a 2K flat LTPO OLED panel. No curved edges this time, if that holds up.

Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro Inside

The chipset tipped here is the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro. That's the next-generation chip from Qualcomm.

Xiaomi 18 Ultra Reportedly Cancelled

Buried in the same leak is an interesting side note: Debayan Roy mentions that Xiaomi 18 Ultra development has reportedly been cancelled, citing Digital Chat Station.

No further details were shared, and this is unconfirmed. But if true, it removes one of Vivo's biggest direct competitors in the ultra-tier camera phone segment.
