Vivo Y100 Offline Sale Commences In India Before Launch: Price Revealed

Vivo is teasing its upper mid-range smartphone, Vivo Y100, in India and is yet to disclose the launch date in India. However, the smartphone has already gone on sale in the country before launch. Mahesh Telecom, a popular retailer from Mumbai, has shared an image of the Vivo Y100 retail box on Twitter, confirming its availability. That's not all, the retailer has also revealed the pricing details of the device.

Vivo Y100: Offline Price

The retailer has confirmed that the Vivo Y100 units are available with them and can be purchased right away. They have also revealed the price tag of the smartphone. As per the tweet, the Vivo Y100 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is available to purchase for ₹24,999. Another report suggests that the Vivo Y100 has gone on sale via offline channels in places where the Vivo Y75 has gone out of stock.

Vivo Y100: Specifications, Features

Recently the marketing materials of the Vivo Y100 surfaced, revealing some key aspects of the device. The smartphone flaunts a color-changing AG Fluorite glass at the back. It is a thin and light smartphone with a 7.73mm thickness and 181 grams weight. The device sports a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The display can reach a peak brightness rate of 1,300 nits for enhanced legibility. Over to the front, the display gets a teardrop notch for the selfie camera.

In terms of performance, the Vivo Y100 is equipped with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor, which is built on a 6nm fabrication process. The chipset is paired with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage.

On the optics front, the Vivo Y100 comes with a triple rear camera setup featuring a 64MP primary shooter with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) support, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro snapper. Selfies and video calls will be handled by a 16MP sensor at the front. The handset is powered by a 4500mAh battery under the hood coupled with 44W fast charging support.
