The Chinese company has been working on the fast charging technology for a while now, so it doesn't surprise that the technology will finally come to devices next year. Multiple posts on Weibo have given us some insight into the upcoming tech.

Xiaomi says the upcoming 100W fast charging technology is going to be super-fast where it can fully charge a 4,000 mAh battery in a matter of 17 minutes. The first smartphone to get the super-fast charging technology support could be the Mi Mix 4, but again, these are just speculations and there is no credible evidence to support it.

Xiaomi isn't the only smartphone maker to claim the technology of the 100W Supercharge Turbo. Like Xiaomi, Vivo too has showcased a 120W fast charging technology. In comparison, Vivo's 120W fast charging support claims to charge a 4,000 mAh battery in just 13 minutes, a couple of minutes lesser than Xiaomi. However, neither Vivo nor Xiaomi have so far launched the fast charging technology support in their devices.

As smartphones are becoming sleeker in designs, innovators are bringing out new technology for the battery. The fast charging technology, wireless charging, and more have an increasing demand in these fast times.

At the same time, we also come across reports of smartphones catching fire and exploding, which are equally dangerous for users. Often, batteries have exploded when put on charge. Don't we need an innovative tech that assures no such explosions occur now? Do let us know your thoughts in the comment section.
