Xiaomi 13 Lite Leaked Unboxing Video Reveals Key Specs Ahead of Launch

The Xiaomi 13 Lite is said to arrive in global markets by the end of February this year. The smartphone will launch alongside the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023. Ahead of the launch, an unboxing video has leaked, revealing that the Xiaomi 13 Lite could be a rebadged version of the Xiaomi Civi 2. The Civi 2 launched in China last year.

The leaked video, showing the unboxing of the Xiaomi 13 Lite, was shared by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore on Twitter. The video shows the smartphone's curved display. Additionally, there's a 67W fast charger included in the box. Ambhore confirmed that the smartphone will be a rebranded Xiaomi Civi 2 and divulged a few more details about the upcoming entry-level phone.

Xiaomi 13 Lite: Expected Specifications

According to reports, the Xiaomi 13 Lite will feature a 6.55-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display. The screen will have a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. Additionally, the smartphone display will support Dolby Vision and 1,920Hz pulse-width modulation (PWM).

When it comes to processing power, the Xiaomi 13 Lite is said to feature a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, 12GB RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone could pack a 4,500mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging. Additionally, the device could get an under-display fingerprint sensor.

As per rumors, the upcoming smartphone will feature a triple camera setup at the rear. The camera system will likely comprise a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera, a 20MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. The Xiaomi 13 Lite may come equipped with two 32MP cameras at the front for taking selfies.

While Xiaomi has not announced the Xiaomi 13 Lite's launch date, reports claim that the budget smartphone will launch at the MWC 2023 in Barcelona, which begins on February 27, 2023.
