The company recently took to Weibo to confirm that the Xiaomi 14 series launch date is set for October 26 in China (07 pm local time). The launch will take place after the Qualcomm Summit, which is taking place between October 24 - 26.
The new Xiaomi 14 series will feature a variable aperture camera, co-developed with Lecia, called the Leica Summilux lens, which is being touted as the "best in the field" for smartphone photography, grants mobile devices unparalleled capture capabilities in all scenarios.
The line-up will likely include the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro. The Xiaomi 14 series will feature the new HyperOS skin and is expected to debut as the first smartphones to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
Xiaomi 14 Series Launch outside China
The Xiaomi 14 series is unlikely to hit global markets, including India, anytime soon. We may have to wait at least another two months before the Xiaomi 14 series goes global. Moreover, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra won't be arriving this week and customers may have to wait for several months before it drops in other markets.
As of now, details surrounding the Xiaomi 14 series are still under wraps, although we believe the two devices will come with LTPO OLED screen, three hi-res camera lenses on the back, large batteries, and super-fast wired and wireless charging support. The Xiaomi 14 series will also likely feature an IP rating for dust and water resistance.
