Xiaomi 15 With Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 Likely to Arrive in Mid-October

We already know Xiaomi is working on the next-gen Xiaomi 15 smartphone. The brand has not confirmed anything regarding this; however, rumours and reports already started teasing the upcoming Xiaomi flagship.

Now, the launch timeline of the Xiaomi 15 has been leaked online, which confirms the brand will follow the same timeline for its next-gen flagship as the Xiaomi 14. Let's dive into the details.

Xiaomi 15 Launch Timeline Leaked

Tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that the Xiaomi 15 will arrive in mid-October 2024. To recall, the Xiaomi 14 series was launched in October 2023 with the global launch followed in Q1 2024. Given that, the next-gen Xiaomi 15 series global launch is also expected to take place in Q1, 2025.

Xiaomi 15: What to Expect?

The Xiaomi 15 and the 15 Pro are expected to be the first phones to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip. Earlier, tipster Yogesh Brar revealed that Xiaomi has an exclusive deal with Qualcomm for the first launch.

The next-gen Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor will go official at the Snapdragon Summit in October 2024. The SoC is said to come with Qualcomm's custom Oryon CPU which will have an improved NPU performance.

Apart from the flagship chip, the Xiaomi 15 is expected to come with a 6.36-inch flat display with 1.5K resolution (2500 x 1200 pixels), an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz, and up to 1,400 nits brightness.
