The Xiaomi 17 series was the first to incorporate the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip back in September 2025. The line-up included the Xiaomi 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max, with an 'Ultra' model following a couple of months later.

As Xiaomi prepares for the global release of its flagship 17 series, new details have emerged about their pricing. It is worth noting that only the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra will hit global and Indian markets.

Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Ultra Pricing: What to Expect

According to a report by Dealabs, the Xiaomi 17 price in Europe will start from €999 (roughly Rs. 1,07,000) for the base 12GB/256GB model, while the 12GB/512GB configuration will cost €1,099 (about Rs. 1,18,000).

The report also notes that the Xiaomi 17 Ultra global pricing will start from €1,499 (roughly Rs 1,61,000) for the 16GB/512GB model and €1,699 (roughly Rs 1,83,000) for the 16G/1TB configuration.

Xiaomi 17 Series Global Launch

The Xiaomi 17 series global launch is expected to take place on February 28 ahead of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 in Barcelona. Additionally, the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra will both be unveiled in India following MWC 2026, presumably in mid-March.

The Xiaomi 17 features a 6.3-inch OLED display with a 2,656×1,220 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smooth visuals for gaming and streaming. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. The phone runs Android 16 with HyperOS 3.0 on top.

Photography is handled by a Leica-tuned triple 50MP rear camera setup (main, telephoto, ultra-wide), along with a 50MP front camera. The Chinese variant packs a 7,000mAh battery, while the global model is tipped to feature a 6,330mAh unit with 100W fast charging.

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra steps up with a 6.9-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display featuring a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and Dragon Crystal Glass 3 protection. It is powered by the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage.

Its camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, plus a 50MP front shooter. The device houses a 6,800mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging support.

With leaked India prices, confirmed Chinese specifications, and a likely global release window after MWC 2026, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra appear set to target premium buyers watching the Samsung S26 Ultra and iPhone 18 Pro launches.
