Xiaomi is gearing up to add two new smartphones to its flagship 17 series globally soon. The Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro have been circulating in the rumour mill for some time now, with a launch expected to take place in May or June.

Now, ahead of the launch, the global pricing and availability of the vanilla Xiaomi 17T has leaked online. Additionally, the price range for the Xiaomi 17T Pro has also been revealed by PassionateGeekz.com.

Xiaomi 17T Series Pricing: What to Expect

According to tipster Sanju Choudhary, the Xiaomi 17T price in India will start from Rs 74,999 for the base 12GB/256GB model. Additionally, the 12GB/512GB variant will set you back Rs 84,999. Choudhary notes that the Xiaomi 17T Pro will not be launching in India.

The report by PassionateGeekz.com has the Xiaomi 17T price ranging from €720 - €740 or between ₹69,000 - ₹72,000 for the Indian market. Furthermore, the Xiaomi 17T Pro price in Europe will range between €950 - €980 or ₹92,000 - ₹96,000 in India.

Xiaomi 17T Series Launch Timeline

However, as mentioned earlier, the Xiaomi 17T Pro may skip the Indian market. A leaked promotional poster claims that Xiaomi is running a contest for the upcoming Xiaomi 17T series between May 29 to June 30. It is worth noting that the Xiaomi 17T series is typically reserved for global markets and the Xiaomi 17T could be unveiled in India under a different moniker.

This suggests that the Xiaomi 17T series launch could take place somewhere in between those dates. Images of the Xiaomi 17T have surfaced ahead of the launch, suggesting that the phone will feature a similar design to the vanilla Xiaomi 17.

Xiaomi 17T Specifications: What to Expect

The Xiaomi 17T is expected to feature a 6.59-inch flat display with 1.5K resolution. This panel should deliver sharp visuals for video, browsing and games. Under the hood, the phones are likely to run the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset, aimed at smooth everyday performance and gaming.

Battery capacity on the Xiaomi 17T is tipped at 6,500mAh, paired with 67W fast charging. This combination should allow extended use plus relatively quick recharging. The phones are also said to include an IP68/IP69 rating, offering protection against dust and water in line with many premium devices.

For cameras, the Xiaomi 17T is expected to use a triple rear setup. Reports mention a 50MP primary sensor with 1/1.55-inch size, a 12MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP telephoto sensor with 1/2.76-inch size. A 32MP front camera is planned for selfies and video calls, with Leica-tuned lenses for photography.
