Xiaomi 17T Specs Leaked Ahead Of Launch: Geekbench Listing Reveals Dimensity 8500, 12GB RAM
Xiaomi seems to be gearing up for another smartphone launch cycle. The company already introduced its flagship Xiaomi 17 lineup earlier this year, and now attention is shifting toward the more affordable T-series models.

The rumored lineup is expected to include the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro, and while Xiaomi hasn’t officially said anything yet, a fresh benchmark listing has given us an early look at what the standard model could bring.
Xiaomi 17T Shows Up On Geekbench AI
A new Xiaomi phone carrying the model number 2602DPT53G has appeared on the Geekbench AI database. Tipster Abhishek Yadav spotted the listing, and previous certification leaks have already linked this model number to the Xiaomi 17T.
The benchmark entry reveals an octa-core MediaTek chip with one core clocked at 3.40GHz, three performance cores running at 3.20GHz, and four efficiency cores clocked at 2.20GHz.
It also lists a Mali-G720 MC8 GPU.
While the chipset name isn’t directly mentioned, the CPU configuration strongly points toward the MediaTek Dimensity 8500.
RAM And Software Details Also Surface
The listing also reveals 11.09GB of RAM, which usually means the final retail version will likely be marketed as 12GB RAM.
On the software side, the phone was spotted running Android 16, which suggests it could launch with Xiaomi’s newer HyperOS version out of the box.
Here’s How It Performed
Geekbench AI also shared some early benchmark scores for the device.
The phone reportedly scored:
- 777 points in single precision
- 858 points in half precision
- 1,160 points in quantized testing
These scores mainly reflect AI-related processing tasks, but benchmark numbers only tell part of the story. Day-to-day performance depends on things like thermal management, software tuning, and battery efficiency, too.
Xiaomi 17T Launch Could Happen Soon
This isn’t the first time the Xiaomi 17T series has surfaced online. Both the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro have already appeared on certification platforms such as IMDA and NBTC, which usually means launch preparations are moving forward.
Previous reports have suggested that the lineup could debut in India sometime around late April or early May.
Nothing is official yet, but Xiaomi’s next T-series launch may not be too far away.
