Xiaomi 18 Series Specs Leaked Ahead Of Launch: Compact Display, Dual 200MP Cameras Tipped
Xiaomi might be trying to do something that sounds slightly unrealistic on paper.
A compact flagship phone with dual 200MP cameras, a battery that could cross 7,000mAh, and Qualcomm’s next flagship chip? That’s what a new leak is pointing toward.

Tipster Digital Chat Station claims Xiaomi is currently testing a new flagship phone that could be part of the upcoming Xiaomi 18 series, expected to launch in China later this year.
A Compact Phone With Big Hardware
The most interesting part of this leak is the phone’s size.
Despite packing high-end hardware, Xiaomi is reportedly sticking to a compact form factor with a display that could measure around 6.3 inches.
It’s also said to feature a flat panel with extremely slim bezels on all sides. The leak mentions Xiaomi may use LIPO packaging technology to make those bezels more symmetrical.
That’s becoming a bigger focus for flagship brands lately, especially as compact phones continue to make a comeback.
The Camera Setup Sounds Aggressive
The rear camera setup could be where Xiaomi makes the biggest jump.
The leak suggests the phone may feature two 200MP cameras, both paired with larger sensors.
That’s unusual even in the flagship segment right now, and it’s one reason why this device could be the Xiaomi 18 Pro instead of the standard Xiaomi 18.
Earlier reports claimed the regular model may only feature a single 200MP periscope camera.
Bigger Battery, New Chip
Another interesting detail is the battery.
The tipster says battery capacity starts with “7,” which strongly hints at something in the 7,000mAh range.
The phone is also expected to run on Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chip, which is rumored to be built on a 2nm process.
Xiaomi usually launches its flagship phones around September, so we may not have to wait too long to find out what this device actually is.
