Xiaomi Civi 3 Appears on Chinese Certification Site with 12GB RAM, Suggests Imminent Release
Xiaomi released the Xiaomi Civi 2 in China in September of last year, which was powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC. There are reports that the smartphone brand is planning to release a potential successor, the Xiaomi Civi 3. While Xiaomi has not yet confirmed the existence of this device, it has allegedly obtained certification from China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
Xiaomi Civi 3 Appears on Chinese Certification Site
According to Digital Chat Station, an alleged listing of the Xiaomi Civi 3 with the model number 23046PNC9C has been spotted on the MIIT website. Screenshots of the listing shared on Weibo suggest that the smartphone may come with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
The listing also confirms that the device will support 5G connectivity. However, no further information is available at this time.
Although Xiaomi has not confirmed the launch of the Xiaomi Civi 3, the listing on the MIIT website indicates that it may be announced soon.
Xiaomi Civi 3: Rumored Specifications
Previous reports have indicated that the Xiaomi Civi 3 may have a 6.55-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a high refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The phone is rumored to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC and features a dual rear camera setup, with a 50MP Sony IMX800 primary sensor. Additionally, the device is expected to come with two 32MP front-facing cameras that provide a 100-degree field of view.
The Xiaomi Civi 2 was launched in China in September of last year, with a starting price of CNY 2,399 (approximately ₹27,000) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. However, the phone has not yet been released in India.
As the Xiaomi Civi 3 has already appeared on the certification site, Xiaomi may reveal more information about the device in the coming weeks, and we will keep you updated.
