Xiaomi Civi 3 Dual 32 MP Selfie Cameras with 4K Video Recording confirmed ahead of May 25 launch

Xiaomi is gearing up to launch a new smartphone in China soon. After several leaks and rumours, the Xiaomi Civi 3 recently got an official launch date in China. While Xiaomi recently revealed the back design of the Civi 3, the new teaser has popped up revealing the front of the phone, including the two selfie cameras.

According to the teaser, the Xiaomi Civi 3 will feature a dual-front camera setup with one camera for selfies. The Xiaomi Civi 3 launch date in China is set for May 25 at 02:00 pm local time or 11:30 am (IST). To recall, the Xiaomi Civi 2 was unveiled in China last year with a starting price of CNY 2,399 (roughly Rs 28,300).

Xiaomi Civi 3 Specifications (Expected)

Xiaomi has confirmed that the Civi 3 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC. The chip could be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The phone is also expected to sport a 6.55-inch FHD+ Curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The images of the phone also confirm a 50 MP primary camera senso with OIS support.

The other two sensors are expected to be an ultrawide and a portrait or macro lens. Additionally, Xiaomi has also confirmed that the Civi 3 will feature two 32 MP front cameras. One of the two 32 MP cameras will be used for selfies and the other is meant for vlogging with a 100-degree flied of view and 4K video recording.

Xiaomi Civi 3 Design

The Xiaomi Civi 3 features a dual tone finish on the back with a circular shaped camera module. The teaser also shows the Xiaomi Civi 3 in four distinct colours - Adventure Gold, Coconut Grey, Mint Green, and Rose Purple. These designs were developed jointly with WGSN.

The Civi 3 will feature a slim and light design, weighing 173.5 grams and measuring 7.56mm thick. It is also worth noting that the Civi 2 wasn't unveiled outside China. The Xiaomi Civi 3 won't likely make its way outside China but stay tuned to Gizbot for more updates about the Civi 3.
