Xiaomi Civi 3 Launching Today: What to Expect?
Xiaomi is set to unveil the follow-up to its Civi 2 smartphone, the Xiaomi Civi 3 today. The Chinese tech giant has set the launch date for today, May 25th at 02:00 pm local time or 11:30 am (IST).
The company has released a teaser video on Weibo-a social media platform specific to China-which unveils the design of the smartphone along with other details. Read on to know everything about the upcoming smartphone.

Xiaomi Civi 3: Design
The back of the Xiaomi Civi 3 showcases a dual-tone finish, complemented by a circular camera module. The teaser images reveal four vibrant color options for the phone: Adventure Gold, Coconut Grey, Mint Green, and Rose Purple. The Civi 3 boasts a slim and lightweight construction, weighing 173.5 grams and measuring a mere 7.56mm in thickness.
Xiaomi Civi 3: Specs & Features
Xiaomi has officially announced that the Civi 3 smartphone will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC. This powerful chip can be combined with a maximum of 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
The phone is expected to come with a 6.55-inch FHD+ Curved AMOLED display that has a 120Hz refresh rate, providing smooth visuals. Images of the phone have also revealed a 50MP primary camera sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) support.

The Civi 3 is anticipated to include two additional sensors, possibly an ultrawide lens and a portrait or macro lens. Furthermore, Xiaomi has confirmed that the phone will feature two 32 MP front cameras. One of these cameras is designed for taking selfies, while the other is optimized for vlogging, boasting a wide 100-degree field of view and the ability to record 4K videos.
The smartphone is expected to come with a 4,500mAh battery that will likely support fast charging of up to 67W. To enhance security, it is expected that the Xiaomi Civi 3 will include an in-display fingerprint scanner. As for the software, the Xiaomi Civi 3 is anticipated to run on MIUI 14, based on Android 13.
Xiaomi Civi 3: Availability
It is worth noting that the Xiaomi Civi 2 did not have an official release outside of China; however, it was rebranded as the Xiaomi 13 Lite for global markets. Similarly, there is an expectation that the Xiaomi Civi 3 will also be exclusive to the Chinese market and might be launched globally as the Xiaomi 14 Lite, according to rumors.
