Xiaomi is reportedly gearing up to expand its premium mid-range Civi lineup with the launch of the Xiaomi Civi 6 and Xiaomi Civi 6 Pro. Recent leaks suggest that both smartphones could arrive with notable upgrades, including 1.5K displays, MediaTek Dimensity chipsets, and advanced camera hardware.

The upcoming models are expected to focus on slim design, camera performance, and balanced flagship-grade features, continuing the legacy of the Civi series in China.

Xiaomi Civi 6 Series Launch Timeline

According to tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Xiaomi Civi 6 series could launch in China soon, although the exact date remains undisclosed. The tipster hinted at two upcoming devices, widely believed to be the Civi 6 and Civi 6 Pro.

The upcoming lineup is expected to succeed the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro, which was introduced in May 2025 with a starting price of CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 35,700). The Xiaomi Civi 6 series is expected to be priced above CNY 3,500 in China. As with previous Civi models, the upcoming smartphones are likely to remain exclusive to the Chinese market.

Xiaomi Civi 6, Xiaomi Civi 6 Pro Specifications: What to Expect

As per the latest leak, the Xiaomi Civi 6 is tipped to feature a 6.59-inch display with 1.5K resolution. It could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 and is expected to include a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom, marking a significant upgrade in the camera department.

The Xiaomi Civi 6 Pro, on the other hand, is said to sport a larger 6.83-inch 1.5K display. It may run on the more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. Similar to the standard model, the Pro variant is also tipped to feature a 50-megapixel periscope lens with 5x zoom capability.

Interestingly, earlier rumours suggested that the vanilla model might use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, but newer leaks point towards MediaTek chips for both devices. The company has not confirmed any Xiaomi Civi 6 series launch plans yet. Further details are expected to emerge through leaks as the announcement window approaches.
