Xiaomi Teases Arrival of First Civi Series Smartphone in India: Likely the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro
Xiaomi is gearing up to unveil a new smartphone series in India soon. The company recently teased the launch of its Civi series in India. This will be the first Xiaomi Civi smartphone arriving in India since the inception of the line-up back in 2021.
Xiaomi recently uploaded a teaser to X (formerly Twitter), teasing the launch of a new smartphone. In the post, Xiaomi takes a dig at Apple's cringe iPad Pro video, stopping the hydraulic press from destroying all the creative instruments.

Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro Launch in India
At the end of the video, we see the text 'Cinematic Vision', where the 'Ci' and 'Vi' are highlighted, hinting at the launch of the Xiaomi Civi series in India. The phone in question will likely be the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro, which was unveiled in China back in March as the first smartphone to use the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.
Xiaomi has not provided an official launch date for the Civi 4 Pro in the country, although it has confirmed the device would be 'coming soon'. This suggests that the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro could launch in India by the end of May or during the first/second week of June.
The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro leverages the brand's partnership with camera experience Leica. We believe the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro price in India will fall anywhere between Rs 40,000 to Rs 50,000, where it will go up against the likes of the Vivo V30 Pro and Google Pixel 8a.
