Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro Clears TENNA Certification Ahead Of November 5 Launch
Xiaomi recently announced the official launch date of its flagship CC9 Pro smartphone, ie, November 5. The device is set to go official in China and is one of the most anticipated Xiaomi smartphones this year. It has been officially teased and leaked numerous times online. Just ahead of its launch, the device made an appearance on TENNA revealing some of the key features. Details are as follows:
Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro Clears TENNA Certification
The Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro's listing suggests the M1910F4E model number. The TENNA listing doesn't reveal the chipset's name, but confirms a 2.2GHz octa-core processor. If the rumors are to be believed, then it could be powered by a Snapdragon 730G processor.
This is a new mid-range chipset by Qualcomm that also powers the recently launched Oppo Reno 2. The TENNA listing suggests multiple RAM and storage variants including a 6GB RAM+ 64GB storage, 8GB RAM+ 128GB storage, and 12GB RAM+ 256GB storage.
The handset will ship with Android Pie OS layered with MIUI 11 skin. It's not clear as to why Xiaomi is not releasing Mi CC9 Pro with Android 10 out-of-the-box while it's offering a new UI.
The listing further reveals a 6.47-inch OLED display panel with an FHD resolution. Xiaomi is sticking to a waterdrop notch, rather than going for a punch-hole for the selfie camera. The latter would have been appreciated.
Coming to the optical department, the Mi CC9 Pro has been grabbing the headlines with its 108MP primary camera sensor. And the TENNA Listing corroborates with the leaks and rumors. But, the remaining sensors are not revealed by the listing.
Some previous leaks have pointed at a penta-lens rear camera setup housing a 20MP wide-angle-sensor, a 10x telephoto sensor, a 12MP depth sensor, and a macro sensor. The cameras are likely to offer 10x digital and 10x hybrid zoom.
The waterdrop notch is said to accommodate a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. Rounding off the specification sheet is a 5,170 mAh battery likely with a quick charging support.
