Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 Black Ceramic variant visits TENAA showing off its stunning design

Xiaomi usually releases spacial variants of its flagship devices in select markets. The Mi 6 has a Ceramic Edition that was exclusive to the Chinese market.

Likewise, Xiaomi is now allegedly working on a special edition of the newly launched Mi Mix 2. The company's Cloud Platform Head revealed some information such as the RAM capacity and design of this new variant. It is said to feature 8GB of RAM and all Ceramic White body. Pictures of a tech analyst holding the Mi Mix 2 Ceramic White variant also emerged online.

Well, guess what, now the device has made its way to Chinese regulatory authority TENAA. However, instead of White, the smartphone is shown sporting a Ceramic Black body. The Ceramic Edition features a ceramic unibody design that is claimed to undergone several tests to assure its quality as well as durability.

Unfortunately, this is not the full TENAA listing as its specs have not been revealed. According to the publication mydrivers.com, the Ceramic Edition of Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 will also be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and 128GB of internal storage. As we have already mentioned earlier, unlike the regular Mi Mix 2, this one will carry 8GB of RAM.

The publication further reveals the special edition of Xiaomi flagship will come with a 5.99-inch full HD display. While rest of the specifications was not detailed, it should to similar to that of the regular Mi Mix 2.

Xiaomi is yet to make an official announcement on this matter. Having said that, we are expecting the unveiling of this special variant before the 11.11 sales promotions that the company conducts in China. As for pricing, the device is likely to be costlier than the original Mi Mix 2.
