Xiaomi's plans regarding the launch of upcoming Xiaomi Mi4c is no secret. The company has been planning this upgrade for quite a while. The company's upcoming device dubbed the Mi4c has already passed TENAA certification in China a few week back.
According to a new report by WCCFTech, the Xiaomi Mi4c will be launched in two different variants - one with 2GB RAM and the other with 3GB. Under the hood of both the variants will be a Qualcomm 808 hexa-core SoC with cores clocked at 1.4GHz each. The device in fact was spotted in the GFXBench a month back.
The report further adds that Xiaomi will be launching 1 lacs variants of each model during the sale. This makes a total of 2 lacs models to be shipped to India. Further the 2GB variant is expected to be priced at $220 (approximately Rs 14,700). This is little on the higher side considering the fact that a 3GB Mi4 is available at just Rs 200 more, but one should bear in mind that the SoC inside is a SD801 in its case.
The prcing of the 3GB model isn't know as of yet though. However we expect Xiaomi to price it under Rs 17K. In terms of specifications the Mi4c is said to feature a 13MP rear Sony/Toshiba camera along with a 5MP front snapper. The device will also feature a USB Type C port and will run on the company's latest MIUI 7.
For juice, the device will be powered by a large 3080mAh battery to drive an entire day of heavy to moderate usage. The leaked dimensions of the device as per TENAA is exactly similar to the existing Mi4i at 138.1 x 69.6 x 7.8 mm. It weighs up at 130 gms.
