Xiaomi MIUI 9 Global Beta ROM 7.8.10 released: How to upgrade?
The beta version of Xiaomi MIUI 9 is out now.
Good news for Xiaomi fans. While you have been waiting anxiously for MIUI 9 update and that the company has already confirmed it will be releasing the stable version sometime later this month, it seems the beta version of the update is out now.
Well, Xiaomi has announced that the first public release of the lightning fast MIUI 9 Global Beta ROM 7.8.10 is finally happening. It has to be noted that it is still not the stable version and this update is a beta release.
However, the company has provided a full changelog and some of the new changes include deep-level system optimizations, new icons, new animations for launching and exiting apps, simpler home screen editing, split screen, improved silent mode triggered by the volume button and improved readability for the start page of Messaging.
One of the key system optimizations that the new update will bring is that the devices with rare Bluetooth profiles will now be hidden in the device list. Apart from this users will also be able to search for apps in the Dual app settings. Furthermore, as MIUI 9 is based on Android Nougat, users will be able to experience most of the Nougat features once they install this new update.
