Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 with Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC Tipped To Launch Earlier Than Usual in First Half of 2025
Xiaomi launched its first-ever foldable phone the Mix Flip this year in July. Now, the brand is expected to introduce the successor of the Mix Flip, which could be dubbed the Mix Flip 2.

According to the Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi's next-gen foldable phone might arrive in the first half of 2025. He also mentioned that '' This generation sold so well that a major iteration will be released soon''.
Xiaomi Mix Flip 2: What to Expect?
The Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 is tipped to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. It is also expected to support wireless charging, an upgrade over the wired fast charging feature on the Xiaomi Mix Flip. Moreover, the Mix Flip 2 is likely to come with an IPX8 rating and will be thinner and more versatile, as per tipster.

To recall, the Xiaomi Mix Flip price in China starts at CNY 5,999 (roughly Rs 69,100) for the 12GB/256GB model. The first-gen model is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.
The Mix Flip also features a 6.86-inch internal LTPO OLED display with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, and an adaptive 1Hz - 120Hz refresh rate, while there's a 4.01-inch 1.5K AMOLED cover screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. For optics, it has a 50MP Light Hunter 800 primary sensor with OIS support, a 50MP Leica Floating telephoto lens, and a 32MP OmniVision OV32B selfie camera.
