Xiaomi Mix Flip 5G with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, Leica Cameras, Gemini AI Launched Globally

Xiaomi officially unveiled its first clamshell foldable smartphone globally. The Xiaomi Mix Flip 5G recently got a global debut alongside the Xiaomi 14T series. Moreover, the Redmi Note 14 series was also unveiled in China yesterday, September 26.

To recall, the Xiaomi Mix Flip 5G already made its debut in China earlier this year alongside the Mix Fold 4. However, the Xiaomi Mix Flip 5G fetches a much heftier price globally as opposed to its price in China.

Xiaomi Mix Flip 5G Specifications

The Xiaomi Mix Flip is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, featuring a notable 3,500mm² vapor chamber-impressive for a flip phone. It offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device runs on Android 14-based HyperOS with Advanced AI features including Gemini Nano and Circle to Search. It packs by a 4,780 mAh battery with 67W fast charging.

The phone's rear camera setup includes a 50 MP Light Hunter 800 primary sensor with OIS and an f/1.7 aperture, along with a 50 MP Leica Floating telephoto lens with an f/2.0 aperture. For selfies, it sports a 32 MP OmniVision OV32B front camera. Co-developed with Leica, the rear cameras promise exceptional quality.

Moreover, the Xiaomi Mix Flip 5G's mechanical hinge allows you to use the cameras at any angle between 45° and 135°.It features a 6.86-inch LTPO OLED internal display with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 3,000 nits peak brightness. The 4.01-inch AMOLED cover screen mirrors these high-end specs, with HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and TÜV eye protection certifications.

Xiaomi Mix Flip 5G Pricing

The Xiaomi Mix Flip 5G price in Europe starts from €1,300 (roughly Rs 1,21,450) for the sole 12GB/512GB model, which is nearly double the €760 asking price for the Mix Flip 5G in China. The Xiaomi Mix Flip 5G comes in Black and Purple shades internationally. As of now, there is no word on the availability of the Xiaomi Mix Flip 5G in India.
