Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 Camera, Processor Details Tipped

The key specs of the upcoming Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 have been leaked online, revealing the processor and camera details. Just recently, it was tipped that the smartphone will sport a periscope camera with improved zoom capabilities.

The report also suggests that the Mix Fold 3 will debut in August. To recall, its predecessor, the Mix Fold 2, debuted back in August 2022. Here's everything we know about the upcoming smartphone.

Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 Leaked Specifications

The Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 was spotted on the IMEI database by Xiaomiui with the model number 2308CPXD0C. The report adds that the the smartphone will not launch in global markets, and will only debut in China

The report adds that the Mix Fold 3 will have a similar design as the Mix Fold 2. We can expect the upcoming smartphone to sport a 6.56-inch cover display and an 8.02-inch inner display, just like its predecessor.

Additionally, it is reported that the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 will be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. As for the camera, the handset will flaunt a 50MP main camera with a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor.

The primary camera will be accompanied by a 50MP Sony IMX858 ultra-wide camera, a 50MP Sony IMX858 telephoto lens, and a 50MP Sony IMX858 periscope sensor. We can expect the cover display to sport a 32MP camera.

Going by the camera specs, the Mix Fold 3 will feature an improved camera setup, taking cues from the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. However, these specs are not set in stone, as the Mix Fold 3 is still reported to be in the testing stage.

According to rumors, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 will likely feature LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The handset may pack a 5,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. As for the operating system, it might run Android 13-based MIUI 14 out of the box.
