Xiaomi Mix Fold 3: Charging Capacity Confirmed Through Certification Site

The certification for the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 was seen on 3C. This listing confirmed the charging specifications of the upcoming smartphone.

The Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is set to support 67W charging. The listing of the phone was spotted on the certification site with the 2308CPXD0C model number.

Xiaomi Mix Fold 3: Charging Specifications

The certification site revealed that the phone will come with a MDY-12-EF charger, a classic Xiaomi adapter. This happens to be the adapter that the company has been sending with it's devices ever since it adopted the 67W charging facility in it's phones in mid-2020.

This charging capacity has been spotted on a wide host of Xiaomi phones, but according to rumours, while the charging capacity is similar to many of the Mix Fold 3's predecessors, there promises to be a long list of new features in the upcoming phone.

Xiaomi Mix Fold 3: Rumoured Specifications

The phone is set to debut in August, as has been confirmed by the company president. The predecessor of this phone, the Mix Fold 2, was 11.2mm thick in its folded state. According to rumours, the Mix Fold 3 is set to be thinner than that.

The handset is expected to feature a thinner and lighter body. It has also been manufactured in a wholly new plant, which boasts of updated production systems. The Smart Factory is producing this phone as its first ever device.

The smartphone is expected to come loaded with Leica-branded cameras.

It is also likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.

Other details likely to be part of the phone include an under-display selfie camera on the main folding screen, support for 50W fast charging and a 5x periscope zoom lens on the back.

However, point to note here is that speculations also suggest that the phone will go on sale only in China. The last two phones in the series were also only launched in Xiaomi's domestic market only.

Only time will reveal more details about the upcoming foldable phone.
