Going by the launch pattern of Xiaomi, the Redmi 5A could be the lower end variant of the Redmi 5 and will be launched in the coming weeks or months along with the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus. We have already seen a TENAA listing that reveals the key specs of the alleged Redmi 5A and this tips that the launch of this lineup is not too far away at least in the Chinese market.

For now, there is no information regarding the specifications of the Redmi 5 Plus. Like its predecessor, this one is believed to arrive with a 5-inch display and feature a similar design as the upcoming smartphones in the lineup.

Going by the previous reports and leaks, the Redmi Note 5 is believed to feature a MediaTek Helio P25 SoC paired with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage space. The device will be launched in another variant with a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset operating under its hood. Also, the smartphone might arrive with a dual rear camera setup comprising of 16MP and 5MP sensors.

The other aspects that are speculated about the Redmi Note 5 include a 5.5-inch display, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 4000mAh battery, MIUI 9 based on Android 7.1 Nougat OS, a USB Type-C port, and a 12MP selfie camera.

The speculations tip that the Redmi Note 5 could be priced at 999 yuan (approx. Rs. 9,800) and 1,299 (approx. Rs. 12,700) yuan for the 32GB and 64GB storage variants. Eventually, there are guesses that the Redmi 5 Plus might be priced at 899 yuan (approx. Rs. 8,800) and the Redmi 5 at 799 yuan (approx. Rs. 7,800).
