Xiaomi Redmi K30 5G Appears On TENNA: Likely To Hit Shelves In January 2020

Xiaomi Redmi K30 series debuted earlier this month alongside a few other products in China. The Chinese tech giant introduced both the 4G and the 5G models at the event. However, only the 4G variant has gone up for sale. While the company had revealed the pricing of the Redmi K30 5G during the event, its official sale dates weren't announced. Now, the device has shown up on TENNA indicating an official launch next year.

Xiaomi Redmi K30 5G Likely To Arrive In January 2020

The Xiaomi Redmi K30 5G is has been spotted with the M2001G7AE model number of TENNA. The device is listed with 165.4 x 76.6 x 8.8 mm dimensions and 209g weight. The company has already confirmed the specifications at the press event held on December 10 in China.

The smartphone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor which has an integrated modem for 5G connectivity. The device is available with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration.

It runs on the latest Android 10 OS and offers MIUI 11 user interface out-of-the-box. Xiaomi has equipped the Redmi K30 5G with a 6.67-inch display that offers an FHD+ resolution and has a dual-punch hole and curved edges. The display comes with a tall 20:9 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

The device gets the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and a frosted AG Glass back. For imaging, the Redmi K30 5G is equipped with six cameras (two at the front and four at the rear). The quad-camera setup at the rear houses a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor, an 8MP super-wide-angle sensor, a 5MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor.

The dual-punch hole upfront houses a 20MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor for selfies and video calling. The smartphone is backed by a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging.

As for the pricing, the Redmi K30 5G is announced at a starting price tag of RMB 1,999 (approx Rs. 20,323) going all the way up to RMB 2,899 (approx Rs. 29,745).
