Xiaomi releases Mi 6X official teaser video and this is all we know so far

Xiaomi has finally given the hint that Mi 6X is close to its official launch. It is being reported that Xiaomi has already scheduled an event for April 25th at Wuhan University. Xiaomi's mid-range and the most anticipated successor to the Mi A1 the Mi 6 will be showcased at the event.

Some pictures of the Mi 6 were leaked earlier today revealing the set of colours the handset will be available in, further, a new official video also made some rounds over the internet. As per the reports, the Xiaomi Mi 6X will feature a Snapdragon 626, which is a slight upgrade from the previously used Qualcomm processor. The device is clocked at 2.2GHz the 14 nm octa0core processor is said to offer a great deal for the mid-segment smartphone enthusiasts; however, a better upgrade like the Snapdragon 636 would have been also appreciated.
It is being further reported that the Xiaomi Mi 6 will feature a 5.99-inch display along with 2160X1080 pixels and will sport an 18:9 aspect ratio display. The Mi 6X is said to be the fifth smartphone from the company to feature the bezel-less display. The other devices in the list include the Mi Mix 2, Mi Mix 2s, Redmi 5 Plus and Redmi Note 5.
On the imaging front, the Mi 6X features a pair of cameras on the rear, including one 20MP f/2.0 aperture which is coupled by another sensor with 8MP f/1.8 aperture lens. Up front, the smartphone features a 20 MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture lens, which makes this device a great deal for the selfie enthusiast masses.
The other features and specification of the Mi 6X include 4GB RAM along with 64GB storage which is similar to the Mi 5X and would probably be expandable via microSD card. On the software front, the device will be shipped with Android 8.1 Oreo and MIUI 9.5.

In the connectivity department, the Mi 6X will be powered by 2,910mAH battery along with a USB Type-C port that will also offer digital audio output, as the company might drop the 3.5 mm headphone jack altogether.
