Xiaomi rolls out Game Speed Booster feature with latest MIUI 9 beta update

Xiaomi is now preparing to bring in a seamless experience for avid gamers who are fond of playing games on smartphones. Well, the company is adding a new feature with MIUI 9 latest update. However, right now the feature is being rolled out to beta version only. Dubbed as Game Speed Booster this tool will basically boost the overall performance of Xiaomi phones while playing the games.

Further with the new Game Speed Booster feature Xiaomi device users will be able to load even high graphical games and pretty much everything. So users will be able to play their favorite games easily. While the feature is still being tested users who have opted for beta program and are using the latest MIUI 9 beta ROM on their devices, will see this Game Speed Booster feature. It is located under the MIUI Security App tab.

Besides, users on beta ROM can head over to the MIUI Security App and set up this app. On launching this tool user will see a pop-up where they will need to go fill in details properly. Once that is done users will now be able to add their favorite games. The Speed Booster tool can be enabled for the selected games as well.

Once the tool is enabled whenever users play a game, the cache and other memory stored by the games will be automatically cleaned up by the system thereby resulting in good seamless performance. While the technology behind this feature seems simple but it has been designed to give users the best performance possible on a Xiaomi smartphones.

Additionally, the Game Speed Booster feature automatically integrate games into the phone's Game Management Panel giving users full control of all the games. Moreover, according to Xiaomi Game Speed Booster mode will not consume more energy when it is enabled. The tool intelligently enables Battery Saving mode and it will also remove active background apps from the device. Users will also be able to set downloads limit in the background.

Game Speed Booster app comes with its own Settings panel, allowing easy customizations. And there's more, the feature gives an option to turn off the notifications from the device, enable DND Mode and more.

In any case, Xiaomi is now yet again trying to bring in some exciting feature for its users. And once the stable version of this tool is released it will make many users happy.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi has recently confirmed that over 40 Xiaomi devices will be updated to the latest MIUI 9.
