Xiaomi Rolls Out HyperOS 3 Globally, Starting With the 15T Series

Xiaomi has begun the worldwide rollout of HyperOS 3, the latest version of its Android-based software, built on Android 16. The update first reaches Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro users in Europe, before gradually expanding to other regions over the next few weeks.

A Gradual Global Rollout

The company confirmed the rollout through its official X account on October 25, marking the start of its biggest software push since the HyperOS platform was first introduced. The 15T and 15T Pro are the first devices to get the update, with build versions OS3.0.3.0.WOEEUXM and OS3.0.4.0.WOSEUXM, respectively. These also bring the October 2025 security patch as part of the update.

The rollout is happening in stages, starting with European markets, before moving to Asia and other regions. Users can manually check for availability through Settings → About Phone → System Update.

Mid-Range Phones Take the Lead

In a rare move, Xiaomi’s mid-range 15T series is being prioritized ahead of its more premium flagships — the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Ultra. This suggests Xiaomi may be using the 15T lineup as an early feedback group for HyperOS 3 before releasing it across its wider device family. The Dimensity 9400+ chipset inside the 15T Pro is also being used to test how well the new software performs across different hardware configurations.

New Features and UI Changes

HyperOS 3 focuses on refinement rather than redesign. It brings a refreshed interface with cleaner animations, improved touch response, and smoother system navigation. A new control layout called “Hyper Island” simplifies access to media, notifications, and multitasking tools.

Xiaomi has also improved cross-device integration, allowing smoother transitions between its phones, tablets, wearables, and smart home devices. The system has been optimized to use less power in background tasks, while app loading times have been shortened.

Roadmap for Other Devices

According to Xiaomi’s rollout timeline, several other devices will get the update next. The Xiaomi 15, 15 Ultra, Redmi Note 14, and Poco F7 and Poco X7 models are expected to receive HyperOS 3 in November 2025. Later that month or by early December, the Xiaomi 14 and Poco F6 series will follow, alongside other devices released in 2024.
