Xiaomi is all over the news with its newly launched smartphones; the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro. While these two smartphones are great, they won't go on sale until next week. Meanwhile, you can check out Xiaomi's previous generation of products. Popular e-commerce platform Amazon is currently hosting the 'I Heart MI' sale under which several Xiaomi devices are offered at discounted prices.
There are flat discounts on a total of five Xiaomi phones. The phones that are part of this sale include the Redmi Note 4, Redmi 4, Redmi Y1, Redmi Y1 Lite and Mi Mi Max 2. Despite being almost a year old now, Redmi Note 4 continues to be India's highest selling smartphone, as claimed by the company. This 'I Heart MI' sale seems to be another marketing gimmick from the Chinese phone maker to sell its older devices.
Redmi Note 4
There is a discount of Rs. 2,000 on the 4GB+64GB variant of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. The smartphone was earlier retailing for Rs. 12,000, and now it can be bought at Rs. 10,999.
Just to recap, the Redmi Note 4 comes with a 5.5-inch full-HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, and a large 4,100mAh battery. On the optics front, the smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash as well as a 5MP front camera.
Under the sale, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 is available at the starting price of Rs. 6,999 for the 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage variant.
The smartphone features a 5-inch HD display, Snapdragon 435 processor, and a 4,100mAh battery. The Redmi 4 also arrives with a 13MP rear-facing primary camera and a 5MP selfie camera.
Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite
The Xiaomi Redmi Y1 can be purchased at the starting price of Rs. 8,999. Whereas the Redmi Y1 Lite is available at a starting price of just Rs. 6,999. Do note that the Redmi Y1 Lite now comes in a special Rose Gold variant.
The Redmi Y1 is equipped with a 5.5-inch HD display, Snapdragon 435 processor coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM. It offers 32GB/64GB native storage options and is backed by a 3,080mAh battery. The smartphone sports a 13MP rear camera and a 16MP selfie camera.
The Redmi Y1 Lite, on the other hand, is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor and features a similar display as the Redmi Y1. The smartphone packs 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage space. The camera department and the battery is also the same.
Mi Max 2
This sale is offering a flat discount of up to Rs. 1,000 on the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant of the Xiaomi Mi Max 2.
The Mi Mix 2 adorns a 6.44-inch FHD 1080p display. At its heart, the smartphone is equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage capacity. As for cameras, it uses a 12MP primary sensor and a 5MP selfie snapper. The Mi Mix 2 is backed by a huge 5,300mAh battery.
