Yu Yunique 2 is up for grabs via Flipkart from 12 PM today

    Micromax's subsidiary, Yu Televentures announced the launch of the Yu Yunique 2 on Tuesday. This budget smartphone priced at Rs. 5,999 is now available for sale starting from today.

    Yu Yunique 2 is up for grabs via Flipkart from 12 PM today

    As announced by the company at the launch of the smartphone, the Yu Yunique 2 sale will debut at 12 PM today exclusively via the online retailer Flipkart. The device will be available in two color variants - Coal Black and Champagne Gold. Flipkart has also put up a teaser on its website for the same with a caption "All that I need. Nothing that I don't".

    We already know that the highlight of the latest smartphone from Yu is the TrueCaller integration that brings features such as caller ID and spam protection to the users ensuring a seamless messaging and calling experience. Besides being a budget smartphone priced at Rs. 5,999, this one is based on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

    Specs wise, the Yu Yunique 2 sports a 5-inch HD 720p IPS display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under its hood, the smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory capacity that be further expanded up to 64GB using a microSD card. At its rear, there is a 13MP rear camera with night mode, panorama and HDR shooting modes. There is a 5MP selfie snapper at the front.

    Running on Android 7.0 Nougat, the Yu Yunique 2 comes packed with connectivity features including 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with A-GPS, FM Radio, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm audio jack and a micro USB port. The device has a slew of sensors such as proximity sensor, ambient light sensor and accelerometer on board. A 2500mAh battery powers the Yu Yunique 2 giving a moderate backup to the smartphone.
