ZTE Axon Multy foldable smartphone with dual screen gets leaked in render

ZTE is rumored to launch a foldable smartphone with dual screens called ZTE Axon Multy soon. Thanks to the folks at Android Authority, an image of the said device has emerged online.

The image shows the semi-unfolded view of the device. The alleged ZTE Axon Multy apparently features two full HD displays. The displays form a larger display of 6.8-inch with the resolution of 1,920×2,160 pixels when joined together. The image suggests that the unfolded screen has an aspect ratio of 1:1. The displays are shown to be joined by some sort of a hinge.

There is one confusing matter though. The earlier leak had suggested the smartphone would be launched as ZTE Axon Multy, but new information suggests it will be dubbed as ZTE Axon M. Whatever the case is, the smartphone is expected to offer smooth multi-tasking experience to users.

Other than that, some specs of the ZTE Axon Multy aka Axon M have also been leaked. Under the hood, it is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor clubbed with 4GB of RAM. There is said to be 32GB of internal storage space.

The smartphone is likely to draw its energy from a 3,120mAh battery unit. Other expected features include a 20MP rear-facing camera and a 3.5mm audio jack.

As for the launch, the ZTE is expected to unveil the Axon Multy on October 17 in New York City. The Chinese company has already confirmed that it will be holding a launch event on the same date.
