A Nubia smartphone bearing the model number NX589J has been making the rounds of the internet lately. A couple of days ago, it was spotted on TENAA, the Chinese certification site.
Now, some renders of the smartphone has been leaked by the publication Anzhuo.cn. The live photos show the smartphone sporting a full-screen design. However, it is far from being a bezel-less device. While the Nubia NX589J is encased in what looks like a protective shell, the top and bottom bezels can be seen clearly. Well, the top and bottom bezels are quite thick.
The side bezels are though relatively narrower. At the front, the Nubia smartphone holds a single camera lens and a physical home button. Coming to the rear panel, there is a dual camera setup setup placed at the top left corner. The camera module is accompanied with a LED flash.
As far as the specifications are concerned, some key specs of the Nubia NX589J has already been revealed by the TENAA listing. It will come with a 5.2-inch multi-touch TFT display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution. Under the hood, the device will be powered by an octa-core processor running at 2.0GHz. While the name of the chipset is not specified, it could be a MediaTek one.
The memory aspect of the smartphone is said to be taken care of by 6GB of RAM and 32GB of default storage. Truth to be told, it is quite unusual that despite have 6GB RAM, the phone's internal storage capacity is so less.
Moving forward, the Nubia NX589J is backed by a 3,100mAh battery and it runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. It sports dual SIM slots and there is a fingerprint sensor which is probably embedded in the home button.
