Back in 2013, Nokia's Lumia 520 helped the brand to stay afloat in the handset market. According to AdDuplex, Nokia now controls 90 % of the Windows Phone market. With the newly launched Lumia 525, the Finnish giant aims to make a bigger impact.
Originally the device was made available in the Indian market earlier this month through Nokia's own online shop for Rs. 10,399. The phone, Lumia 525, is now available via leading online shopping websites in India.
Those who wish to get the device from Flipkart will be at an advantageous position, as the Lumia 525 is available for just Rs. 10,199. Further you may consider online shopping site Saholic. The same device can be yours for Rs. 9,999 when purchased via Saholic.
This is not the end to the story, Nokia Lumia 520, which was launched last year in India, is now selling for Rs. 7,750. The company's hasn't indicated any price cut on the Lumia 520 in India; still it's a great offer which shouldn't be missed out at all.

Nokia Lumia 525 is a low-end WP8 handset made for masses. With 1GB of RAM, you do not have to be worried about running games and apps. The phone has a fairly large 4-inch display having a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. Under the hood , there is a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, backed by 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card slot. To be precise, the Lumia 525 will be a decent choice for those who do not want to spend much on a cell phone .The device is powered by Windows Phone 8 with familiar metro UI, making the overall experience awesome.
Competition with Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2
Talking about the competition, Samsung's Galaxy S Duos 2 directly competes against the Nokia Lumia 525. Both phones can be purchased under Rs. 10,500. The only advantage added with the Android powered Galaxy S Duos 2 is the support of dual SIM, which should be seen as a plus point. Specs wise both devices have more or less similar internal hardware.
