With the success of Nokia Lumia series the company officials are rolling out more and more models in the same line up. Nokia is all set to launch Nokia Lumia 900 which will have lots of improved functions and applications as compared to Nokia Lumia 800.
Lumia 900 will come with completely overhauled sound system and camera and this will make it stand apart from other Lumia series devices. The focus and the colour balance in the new camera system have been optimized to ensure good quality photographs in very drastic lighting conditions.
The camera module used in Lumia 900 is same as in Lumia 800 so that the improvement in image quality will be brought about by a software change. So this same update can be used for Lumia 800 camera too. The camera will get a new Native panorama option too. There are sufficient improvements in audio hardware and software used and Lumia 900 sports a superior multimedia system than Lumia 800.
Tethering ability was not available in Nokia 800 at first. This was a disadvantage since no other device could use the internet connectivity that is available in the phone. But Nokia Lumia 900 comes with tethering ability. Lumia 900 will feature a bigger display than Lumia 800 which has a 3.7 inch display. The speculation is that Lumia 900 will have a 4.3 inch display that may offer resolution of about 480 x 800 pixels.
Nokia Lumia 800 and Lumia 900 are 3G devices but Lumia 900 supports 4G LTE networks too. Lumia 900 comes with dual HSPA+ but the battery life of the phone won’t be affected this since it is particularly optimized to handle this network. Lumia 900 and Lumia 800 won’t have GLONASS (Global Navigation Satellite System) support.
This would have improved the efficiency and speed of positioning if support was extended to it. Regarding connectivity both the phones will have similar options but Lumia 900 will contain added NFC (Near Field Communication).
One of the major factors that prevent users from opting for a Windows mobile is the lack of application and support software’s. Nokia is trying hard to bring about more and more applications to meet the user’s demands.
Once they have sufficient software support, Nokia Lumia devices would be powerful enough to take on its android opponents. So when Lumia 900 rolls out Nokia might have enough applications under their sleeve. The exact released date or price tag of Lumia 900 is not known as for now.
