Intex to Launch MT6592 Octa-Core Smartphone Within This Week
New Delhi based Indian smartphone vendor, Intex seems to be on a launching spree these days. Recently the company had listed its Cloud Z6 phablet on the official website and now the tech media world has received official update on the launch of another smartphone from Intex, featuring a premium true octa-core chipset.
As per the press released received this morning, Intex has partnered with MediaTek to launch its new flagship smartphone, which will come powered by a 1.7 Ghz Octa-Core processor.
Further, it has been informed that the upcoming device will flaunt a metal body measuring dimensions of 7mm thickness along with a bezel of 2.6mm.
Other specs would include a huge 6 inches HD IPS LCD screen, 2GB of RAM, Mali450-MP4 graphic unit tuned to 700 MHZ, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, 13MP rear camera and 5MP front facing shooter with BSI sensors.
Also, the soon-to-be-unveiled Intex smartphone will hit shelves in two variants depending on the internal storage capacity of 16GB and 32 GB, while as of now there is no information on the expandable storage of the phone or a microSD slot. Meanwhile, the phone will come with "an exchangeable battery design" with dual Yamaha 1420 speakers.

Further, GizBot has just come to know from the company sources close to the matter that the new Intex handset could launch anytime in the next two days, at a price range of around Rs 20,000.
