OnePlus, which is yet to enter the Indian market with its One device has yet again hit the online world. The news is basically regarding the successor of the popular OnePlus One, which was also claimed as one of the most ardent '2014 flagship killer' smartphone.
It was on Reddit AMA that folks at OnePlus hinted at the new phone - the One Plus Two. Two of the company officials Carl and David, were the ones to confirm the authenticity of the successor of the OnePlus One smartphone.
According to Carl, the OnePlus 2 smartphone can be expected to be launched in Q2 or Q3 of 2015 and is also likely to be smaller than the One handset.
When asked about the size, the new OnepLus phone would likely be at least somewhere between 4.7-inch and 5-inch. The OnePlus One was initially criticized for its large 5.5-inch form factor. The company would therefore correct the size in its successor and make it more carry-able.
Carl also tipped that the OnePlus 2 smartphone would probably run the yet-to-be-released Android L build of the OS. He said, "By that time, I'd think Android L would be standard."
The same handset was also tipped by one of the most popular technology-bound leakster @evleaks (now retired).
So far, the specs of the OnePlus Two is something which is yet to be revealed and device could still be at its initial phase of development and nothing can be said thus.
