Amid the attack of show stealer handsets including Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Sonyt Xperia Z1 on the Indian tech ground, Panasonic who's trying to set a foot in the native market has launched two of their latest handsets online, namely P11 and T11. Priced at Rs. 16,364 and Rs. 9,520 respectively, both these devices are selling on Snapdeal at the aforementioned price and come packed with decent specs.
Panasonic T11 and P11 are not new to India and few other countries because back in July this year, P11 was listed on Flipkart under pre-order category and T11 was said to be coming soon, but somehow the launch got delayed. However, it's good to see Panasonic still in Smartphone business because earlier this month, Panasonic was said to leave smartphone business in Japan but continue selling rebranded smartphones in India.
Now, since the P11 and T11 have already launched in India, lets have alook at the specs of the two devices independently:
Panasonic P11 comes with a 5 inch IPS and capacitive touchscreen display with an HD resolution of 720x1280 pixels. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with 1GB RAM. To look at the camera section the P11 comes packed with an 8.0-megapixel auto-focus camera accompanied by a LED flash at the back and a 1.3-megapixel front camera. The internal storage capacity comes with a 4GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB with the help of microSD card. The Panasonic P11 also supports dual SIM functionality (GSM+GSM) and apart for it connectivity section include 3G, WiFi, USB and Bluetooth. The phablet is powered by a 2,000mAh battery.
this one sports a 4.0-inch WVGA IPS display with a resolution of 480x800 pixels. The handset is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and backed by 1GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform. The smartphone comes with a dual SIM support (GSM + GSM). The T11 also comes with a 5MP rear camera which is loaded with autofocus and LED flash along with a 0.3 megapixel front facing camera. The Panasonic T11 is a mid-segment device which comes with 4GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card. Connectivity options include 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS and USB. This smartphone is powered by a 1500 mAh battery.
The Panasonic P11 comes in Black color with back covers and is, as said earlier, priced at Rs. 16,364 while the T11 comes in White color at Rs. 9,520. The only difference between the two handset is the display and battery. Every thing remains just the same.
Both devices fall in the mid range price category and will come in competiton with a lot of devices from Micromax, Samsung, Karbonn and Xolo. Moreover, to be precise, devices like Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro, Karbonn S5 Titanium, Micromax Canvas HD A116, Micromax Canvas Doodle A111, Micromax Canvas 4 A210, Lava Iris 504Q, Xolo Play and Q1000.
