Panasonic Unveils New Range of Telephones, Aims to Expand Presence in Tier 2 and Tier 3 Cities
Electronic major Panasonic India is planning to make expansion into tier 2 and tier 3 markets by releasing a range of telephones. The new telephones from Panasonic have been designed keeping Indian consumers in mind.
Panasonic had done a detailed research on the requirements of customers prior to the development of the new telephones. The range of phones expected to be released includes Integrated Telephone System and Digital Gigarange Cordless phones.
The phones will have features like One Touch Eco Mode. The new phones will be particularly interesting to Indian customers attributed to its low power consumption and extended talk time. Low power consumption is ensured by Panasonic’s Standby Power Consumption feature. The power failure talk system present in the new phone will enable users to continue uninterrupted conversation during power failure.
Toru Hasegawa, Managing Director- System Sales Division at Panasonic India stated “Panasonic reiterates its commitment towards its customers by understanding a catering to their specific needs through innovation in technology”.
He also added that the company is confident that it will enjoy the top position in the telephone segment with the launch of the new range of telephones. He said that the company will continue its growth next year as well. Panasonic is aiming to become the No.1 Green Innovation Company in the electronic industry by the year 2018.The latest developments at the company are moving in this direction.
