Chinese smartphone brand Phicomm enters India with a Rs 10,999 Smartphone: Specs, Features and More

China-based Phicomm made its debut in the Indian market by launching the Passion 660 smartphone, with an Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC and hybrid dual SIM, which lets you use the second SIM slot as an expansion slot.

Phicomm Passion 660 features a professional pedometer along with gesture recognition. This pedometer enables one to track how much you walk in a day and also the calories burnt.

Also, the built -in step-counter sensor does not require GPS & Network and it has 166 times power saving Capability as compared to a Software Solution.

Phicomm Passion 660 - Key Specifications

Phicomm Passion 660, sports a 5-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

This device is powered by a 1.5 GHz Octa- core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) processor with Adreno 405 GPU besides 2GB RAM under the hood.

On the camera department, Passion 660 houses 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, Sony IMX214 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 5MP front-facing camera and it is shipped with Android 4.4 KitKat on top of Expect OS 5.0.

Passion 660 can also record your altitude by the built-in barometer. When taking a picture, you can use Geotag and Barometer to record your 3D position (That means your latitude, longitude and altitude of your position).

Further on the storage front, this smartphone comes with 16GB internal memory, with an expansion option of up to 64GB via microSD card slot.

Moreover, on the connectivity, this phablet supports 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS along with sensors like G-sensor, L-sensor，P-Sensor, E-compass, Barometer, Step-counter sensor, Gesture sensor and powered by a 2300mAh battery.

Coming in Black and White variants, Phicomm Passion 660 comes at a price of Rs. 10,999 and will be available exclusively on the e-retail store Amazon India from June 9.
