The highly awaited device from Samsung has finally been launched recently along with a couple of other distinguished devices. Galaxy Note 3 which was in the leaks and rumors since past couple of months has finally been officially unveiled and it is expected to hit the major markets as soon as September this year. Not only that but the Galaxy Gear was also in the headlines for quite sometime before it got announced along the Note 3.

Galaxy Note 3 measure 151.2 x 79.2 x 8.3mm, thereby making the Note 3 1.3mm narrower than its predecessor, the Note 2. It also weighs 168 grams, about fifteen grams lighter than the previous one. The Note 3 comes with a large 5.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED panel with an outstanding 386 pixels per inch pixel density.

The device will ship in two variants. The first being a variant with a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 chipset and a second one that uses a 1.9GHz Exynos Octa-core SoC (most likely to come to India). The remaining specifications will be the same between both models. The newly launched device will be also backed by a 3GB RAM. The device comes loaded with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS.

In terms of camera, one can find a 13MP rear shooter with smart stabilization and a 2MP front-facing snapper. The device can shoot 4K video, which happens to be four times higher on quality when compared to HD. You get to choose between 32GB and 64GB for internal storage and then there's a microSDXC slot for further expansion.

Moving to connectivity, you'll find IR LED, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, MHL 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0. There's also LTE Cat4 support apart from quadband DC-HSPA+ 42Mbps and quadband GSM / EDGE. The device will be powered by a 3,200mAh removable battery.
