Zebronics Marks An Entry Into Tablet Space With Zebpad 7T100, Zebpad 7c, Zebpad 9c Launch in India
Mumbai based tech manufacturer, Top Notch Infotronix which is selling its tech consumer goods in India; under the brand name Zebronics has recently introduced three latest Android tablets in the market.
This is the first time, the company has marked an entry into the tablet space, with Zebpad 7c, Zebpad 9c and Zebpad T100. All the tablets are priced economically and belong to the budget friendly category with the highest price standing at Rs. 7,777. Since the Indian tablet market is stuffed with low end tablets, the late entrant, Zebronics might have to face a tough time battling other ruling models from HCL, Karbonn and Micromax.
Going by the specs, the company says, Zebpad 7T100 is the best tablet among the three. It comes with a 7 inch 5 points capacitive touch screen display that offers a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.
The device is powered by Cortex A8 processor clocked to 1GHz and is also supported by a Mali-400MP 3D GPU and 512MB DDR3 RAM. When it comes to OS, it runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice cream sandwich.
The Zebpad 7T100 incorporates voice-calling through a sim-card along with other connectivity features like Wi-Fi connectivity and USB OTG cable to act as a host, allowing other USB devices like a USB flash drive, mouse or keyboard to be attached to it.
It comes with an 8GB internal storage capacity which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot. There is a 2MP rear camera along with a 0.3MP front facing shooter in the tablet.
The tablet draws its power from 3200mAH rechargeable li-polymer battery.
On the other hand, the Zebpad 7c and the Zebpad 9c, which comes with 7 inch and 9 inch display, both feature a similar 5-point capacitative touch-screen display offering a resolution of 800x600 pixel. Both feature Mali-400MP 3D GPU and runs on Android 4.0.4 ICS operating system and comes packed with 2-megapixel rear camera and a front facing VGA shooter for video conferencing. In the connectivity front Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n is a standard, USB dongle capability to link up high-speed 3G networks is an added advantage. These tablets also come with 8GB built-in memory that is expandable up to 32GB through a micro SD slot. The tablet comes powered by a 3200 mAH battery.
When it comes to pricing, Zebpad 7c costs Rs. 5,499, Zebpad 9c is Rs. 7,499, and the Zebpad 7T100 for Rs. 7,777. On top of that, the company has also attached 1 year warranty on these devices. These devices are available right away at Zebronics' e-commerce site.
