Samsung Z1 with Tizen OS Reportedly Launching at Rs 5,700

Previously, there were lot of rumors surfaced about the Samsung's Z1, the first budget smartphone with home-baked OS Tizen launching in India around mid-January. According to Manish Khatri from Mahesh Telecom, this smartphone will go on sale for a price Rs. 5,700 with stock which will be arriving tomorrow.

Samsung Z1 - Key Specifications

Moving on to the specifications, Z1 flaunts a 4-inch WVGA TFT LCD display with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. It is clocked at 1.2 1.2 GHz dual-core Spreadtrum SC7727S processor with Mali 400 GPU along with 768MB RAM.

This device is built with 4GB of internal memory with an expansion slot up to 64GB via microSD card slot. Also, with Samsung's very own OS Tizen OS 2.3. This dual SIM mobile carries a dimension of 9.7mm thickness and weighs around 112grams.

On the imaging side, it employs 3.1MP rear camera with LED Flash, VGA front-facing camera and it is juiced by a 1500mAh battery.
Coming to the connectivity, it supports 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth, A-GPS and it includes Tizen store, through which all the apps can be downloaded.

Available in White variant only, the price is marked at Rs. 5,700 and it might get released in this week.
