Samsung has already announced a September 3 media event in Berlin, but it seems that Japan's Sony is apparently still not ready to spell the beans on its forthcoming Xperia Z3 flagship smartphone, amongst other devices.

Nevertheless, a Sony invitation for a press briefing scheduled for September 3rd in Berlin has been allegedly leaked online by Taiwanese site ePrice.

Sony’s IFA 2014 Press Invite Leaks Online

Last year, Sony launched the much awaited Xperia Z1. This year won't be different. Ahead of IFA tech show, a Taiwan-based site ePrice has posted a Sony invite for a press conference. Interestingly, Sony appears to be launching more cool devices this time around, including an updated external camera sensors for the Xperia range of devices.

The press invite allegedly says that "you are invited to the IFA 2014 Sony press conference and exclusive booth unveiling", without hinting much about devices. The invitation's image, as seen above, possibly hints at various devices - not just the Xperia Z3.

Although it is not clear which Xperia model appears in the alleged press invite, most likely Sony is going to unveil the Z3 as well as a miniature version of the Z3, tentatively known as the Xperia Z3 Compact. Other than new smartphones, the company might unveil an all new All-in-one (AIO) computer.

If other rumors are to be believed, Sony might launch the next-gen SmartWatch 3 - its Android-powered intelligent watch. The upcoming watch is expected to launch alongside the Xperia Z3. We don't know much about Sony's SmartWatch 3, but rumors say it will be slightly better than the previous generation hardware.

Finally, the company is expected to unveil its new tablet device, dubbed the Xperia Tablet Z3. An existing rumor suggests that the Tablet Z3 would flaunt an 8-inch display, and a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor under the hood.

For now, we've to wait for Sony's official teaser being planned to roll out ahead of IFA 2014. Stay tuned to GizBot for more updates!
