Sony Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia C3 Started Receiving Lollipop Update
Latest Sony device to taste the Lollipop update is the Xperia T2 Ultra and the Xperia C3. Previously, T2 received Lollipop update in places like Czech Republic, Germany, and Taiwan.
Both smartphones will run Android 5.0.2 Lollipop after applying the update, and both will then be on build 19.3.A.0.470. The update should become available globally in the coming days and weeks.
Lollipop update comes with new material design which offers a bold, colorful and responsive UI, refreshing notification system.

It will also allow the users to see the notification in the lock screen and they will get displayed like banners on the top of the screen. Additionally, there is a do-not-disturb feature added to the notification bar.
This update also contains battery optimization, which includes battery saver mode, job scheduling and a new developer tool called Battery Historian which tracks the battery consumption by an application.
