Spice Pinnacle Stylus: 5.5 Inch HD Phablet with Evernote Premium Subscription Launched At Rs 15,999

Spice Mobility has added a new HD smartphone under Pinnacle series of handsets. The Spice Pinnacle Stylus Mi-550 comes with a 5.5-inch HD display, making the display large enough to draw sketches and later share with friends. The India-based tech vendor has collaborated with Evernote.

With every purchase of the Pinnacle Stylus Mi-550, you will get a 1year subscription of Evernote, worth Rs 3000 without any cost.

Moreover, the Android 4.2 Jelly Based phablet also includes a stylus, a leather cover and a screen guard at no extra cost. The phone was spotted Saholic last week, at a listed price of Rs 15,499. The Spice Pinnacle Stylus Mi-550 will compete against likes of the Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 and Panasonic P55.

The Spice Pinnacle Stylus Mi-550 has a 5.5-inch display having a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of ROM (expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card slot). Android 4.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box.

The 8-megapixel rear facing camera comes with Auto Focus and LED Flash light and a 2-mega pixel front facing camera. The rear facing camera is capable of recording videos in Full HD 1080p format. The makers have added a 2500mAh Li Ion battery. The device measures 9.5mm in terms of thickness.

Other connectivity features include: Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Dual SIM, 3G, 2G GSM, A-GPS and gesture based features.

The official press release notes that a complementary one-year subscription of Evernote will include Skitch feature.

"The stylus along with Skitch, enables users to annotate, draw shapes and sketches, so your ideas become reality faster ".

The Spice Pinnacle Stylus Mi-550 will be available through major retail outlets, AndroidLand stores and Saholic online store.

The Canvas Doodle 2 comes with a massive 5.7-inch IPS HD touch display. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM (expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card slot). Android 4.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box.

The phone packs a 12MP rear facing camera with Auto Focus and LED flash. Also add a 5MP front facing camera. The makers have added a 2600mAh Li Ion battery. The phone also includes a working stylus.
