While the original Ascend Mate 2 was launched at an effective price of Rs. 24,999, but it was a commercial failure due to poor marketing. Though, the device was decent enough, if not brilliant. The specifications are more-or-less unchanged. The 6.1-inch HD quad-core phablet will face tough competition from Nokia's recently launched Lumia 1320.
