Top 7 Upcoming Smartphones With Octa Core CPU Worth Waiting For
The Octa-Core chipset is touted to be the next big thing in the handset market. With the official release of the MediaTek MT6592 SoC and Intex new smartphone prototype, it seems that the upcoming smartphones featuring Octa-Core chipset will be equivalent to PCs in terms of performance.
Recently, Intex becomes India's first tech vendor to announce a 6-inch HD smartphones featuring the MediaTek MT6592 processor.

But at the same time, other international brands like Samsung, Sony and more are also coming up with their next generation octo core phones as well. In the coming days, you will notice that Samsung, HTC, Sony, Micromax, Alcatel and Huawei are all ready to bring their respective handsets using latest-gen Octa-Core processors.

Upcoming Octa-Core Smartphones
Intex has become the first Indian tech vendor to introduce an eight-core smartphone powered by the MediaTek MT6592 SoC. The phone features a 6-inch HD display having a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by a 1.7GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MY6592 SoC with 700 MHz Mali 450-MP4 GPU, 2GB RAM and 8GB/16GB 32GB internal memory.
Android 4.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box. There's a 13MP rear-facing camera with Auto Focus and LED Flash. The rear-facing camera is capable of recording videos in 1080p Full HD format.
Also add a 5MP front-facing camera.The makers have added a 2300mAh battery fitted inside. Other connectivity features include: 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, A-GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack and dual Yamaha 1420 speakers.
There is a possibility to see the phone probably in January next year.
Upcoming Octa-Core Smartphones
TheTaiwanese giant HTC managed to impress consumers with the HTC One. Although the device was launched earlier this year;however rumor has it that HTC has already started working on its much desired sequel.
Reportedly, HTC One 2 would have a 5-inch/ 4.7-inch FHD display and incorporate an Octa-Core processor under the hood. The phone would pack 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal memory. GizBot expects the device to be launched at the MWC 2014 followed by March release date.
Upcoming Octa-Core Smartphones
Earlier this year Sony had launched its Xperia C in China. The device gained massive appreciation because the chipset found under the hood was powered by MediaTek. Now Sony is again rumored to come up with another MediaTek powered handset.
Codenamed Tianchi, the upcoming Sony made handset would feature MediaTek's MT6592 chipset-the world's true Octa-core processor. The said phone would have a 6-inch 720p HD display and would reportedly cater to emerging markets. The exact release date and pricing is yet to be revealed.
Upcoming Octa-Core Smartphones
With the Canvas Turbo A250, Micromax tasted high-end Full HD smartphone market. Meanwhile, @MMXNewscaster tweeted that after the launch of Canvas Turbo A250, we could see the coming of company's first Octa-Core smartphone. The phone might get announced early next year and would have a Full HD display and better camera. More details are expected to roll out later this year. Watch this space for more action!

Upcoming Octa-Core Smartphones
Chinese major tech vendor Huawei will launch a new smarphone with a 1.6GHz octa-core K3V2 chipset. The Ascend P6S will be a success to the Ascend P6, a 4.7-inch HD smartphone launched earlier this year. The Ascend P6S recently made its appearance on China's Tenna (an equivalent to FCC).
This means that the said handset is coming very soon, at least, in Huawei's native market. As far as specs are concerned, Huawei Ascend P6S will pack a 4.7-inch 720p HD display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB ROM, 8MP rear-facing camera and Wi-Fi connection. Moreover, the processor will be based on the ARM big.LITTLE architecture with a 1.8GHz dual-core Cortex-A15 and a 1.2GHz dual-core Cortex-A7 processors.
Upcoming Octa-Core Smartphones
DigiTimes reported that Samsung could use MediaTek powered Octa-Core chipset to produce the next Galaxy handset. Samsung has already used the Exynos Octa 5 chipset in the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3.
Samsung's will launch a Octa-Core smartphone using MediaTek chipset in the first quarter of 2014.
Upcoming Octa-Core Smartphones
Chinese vendor TCL, who controls Alcatel brand, might come with an Octa-Core smartphone. TCL and MediaTek shared a great repot; therefore one could a possible coming of an Octa-Core smartphones. Reportedly, the Alcatel One Touch Idol X+ could be soon featuring the MediaTek MT6592.
