Xiaomi Mi4 To Launch in December: Redmi Note To Be Released Next Year

Back at the time of the Redmi 1S launch in India, Xiaomi's front-man in India Hugo Barra had told GizBot that the company was planning to get the certification for phones like Redmi Note along with the flagship device - Mi 4 including the Mi Pad tablet.

The headman then told us that the Mi 4 would be launched before the end of this year, while the Redmi Note can be expected to enter Indian market by early next year.

Now it appears that the company will actually be launching these devices at the aforementioned time. Company's global head Hugo Barra in a chat with The Economics Times, confirmed the same launch schedules for the new devices..

Xiaomi Redmi Note: Key Specification

The Redmi Note sports a 5.5-inch display with 720 pixel IPS support. The device has 2 GB of RAM coupled with 1.7 GHz MediaTek MT6592 octa-core processor. It has 8 GB of onboard storage and a micro-SD card slot that supports another 32GB. The device runs on Android 4.2 that has been optimized with MIUI version 5. Apart from that, the device sports a primary 13MP rear camera with LED flash, alongside a 5MP snapper at the front of it. The phone is juiced via a massive 3200mAh battery. So don't worry about running out of juice in the middle of the day.

Xiaomi Mi 4: Key Specification

The Mi4 comes with a 5.5-inch Quad HD (2K) display offering a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels and churns out the pixel density of 538 ppi. It is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Quad-core CPU clocked at 2.5GHz coupled with 3GB of RAM. It runs on MIUI V5 based on Android 4.4 KitKat version. Imaging will be pretty amazing as the company has used a 16 Megapixel OIS rear camera in the phone, and you will also get to see a premium 5-megapixel front facing shooter as well. Internal storage capacity will be seated at 32GB along with a microsSD card slot. Further it will also support GSM, 3G WCDMA, 4G FDD-LTE networks and it comes packed with a 3200 mAh Li-Po battery.
