Xolo A600 launched at Rs 8199: Top Competing Handsets You Should Consider Before Buying

Popular handset vendor, Xolo, has come out with a new mid-range smartphone in the Indian market. The Xolo A600 was listed on company's website for quite some time, and now, the makers have decided to release the handset in India. The Xolo A600 is priced at Rs. 8,199 in India. The A-series offers a mix of mid-to-high-end Android based phones. Last week, Xolo unleashed Q900, a 4.7-inch HD handset in the market at Rs. 12,900.

The Xolo A600 is a refreshing Android phone. It packs a 4.5-inch qHD IPS display having a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels at 245ppi. The phone features a 1.3GHz dual-core processor powered by MediaTek. RAM stands at 512MB and 4GB of internal memory is further expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. Android 4.2 Jelly Bean comes out of the box. The device also supports dual-SIM functionality.

There's a 5-megapixel camera with Auto Focus and LED Flash. Also add a VGA quality front-facing camera for long video chat. The makers have added a 1900mAh battery fitted inside.

Other connectivity features include: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, 3G, 2G (Edge), USB 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack, Dual SIM and A-GPS. The phone will be available in White and Black color.

Few days ago, Xolo released a low-end 4-inch smartphone. The Xolo A500L features a 4-inch display having a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT 6572 processor with a Mali 400 MP GPU coupled with 512MB RAM and 4GB of ROM (expandable). The phone runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. There's 3.0-megapixel rear camera with a LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing shooter. Other connectivity features include: Dual SIM, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and A-GPS. The makers have added a 1500mAh battery.
