Earlier this month Xolo launched its Q700i in the Indian market at Rs. 11,999 and couple of days ago, we spotted A500L on its official website. Now the company has announced its Q900 smartphone and is available on the company's official website at Rs 12,999. While A600 is also listed on the site.
The handsets fall in Xolo's rich Q and A series respectively. Apart from the Q900 which got announced today, the two devices, A600 along with the A500L is yet to be officially launched by the company. Also there are no details on the pricing and availability of these handsets at the moment. However,
Lets take a comparative look at the Xolo Q900 and A600 handsets:
The Q900 comes with a 4.7-inch HD capacitive touch screen IPS display offerinf a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and pixel density of 312 ppi. While the A600 has a 4.5-inch qHD capacitive touch screen IPS display which offers 960 x 540 pixels resolution and pixel density of 245 ppi.
Processor, RAM and OS
The Q900 is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6589 processor with PowerVR SGX 544 GPU coupled with 1GB RAM. On the other hand, the A600 is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572W processor with Mali 400MP GPU. It has a lesser RAM at 512MB.
However, both these devices run on Android Jelly Bean v4.2 OS.
The Xolo Q900 comes packed with an 8 Megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor with LED Flash and is capable of 1080p video recording. Also there is a 2MP front-facing shooter. The A600 features 5MP auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and a 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing shooter.
Both these devices come with a regular connectivity features which include 3G , WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS/aGPS. Apart from that both these devices come with a dual SIM support with dual standby.
Alos the storage capacity of both the devices remain same with 4 GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32 GB using microSD card.
There is a slight difference in the battery power between the two devices as the Q900 is powered by 1800 mAh battery and the A600 draws its energy from a bit powerful 1900 mAh cell.
Looking at the specs of the two devices, one can find a mild differences in all the section but the major difference would be the RAM which is very less in A600 and even the display fails to match with the quality of Q900. The A600 comes with a better battery but it again looses in camera segment. However, everything else remains the same. The smartphone lovers who are looking to buy one can opt for the Q900 without thinking twice.
